33rd Annual Meeting of the German Crystallographic Society
The 33rd Annual Meeting of the German Crystallographic Society (DGK) will take place from 10 to 13 March 2025 at Leibniz University Hannover. The conference brings together international researchers from the fields of crystallography, materials science, chemistry, physics and life sciences.
Highlights
- Opening and presentation of the honorary doctorate to Prof. Dr. Ekhard Salje (10 March, from 1:00 p.m.)
Plenary lectures by:
- Prof. Dr. Ekhard Salje: ‘Ferroelastic Minerals’
- Prof. Dr. Waltraud M. Kriven: ‘High Temperature Studies of Ceramics’
- Prof. Dr. Joke Hadermann: ‘Crystal Structure Evolution Tracking’
- Prof. Andrew Goodwin: ‘Truchet-Tile Architecture in Material Chemistry’
- Prof. Dr. Ingrid Span: ‘FeFe Hydrogenases in Biotechnology’
- Prof. Dr. Dr. Clemens Richert: ‘Organic Crystallization Chaperones’
Many other microsymposia and about 100 posters are also part of the event.
The conference is being organised by Leibniz University Hannover. The closing event on 13 March 2025 (11:45 a.m.) will summarise key topics and provide a platform for discussion.
